This police drama is a modern day Robin Hood story with a twist. The twist is, that they “put away” criminals who are unpunishable by the law. It’s an exciting drama that always leaves me guessing and makes me think.
I honestly watched this because it’s a NISHIKIDO RYO drama. I mean, what else would I watch it for. Though, I have been known to enjoy several mystery/police dramas such as Galileo, MR. Brain and Unubore Deka. This is a different drama because it is highly dramatic and very different. When I say different, I mean the whole concept is just unique. The thought that there is an underground society getting rid of those unpersecutable by law is by far something to think about. It doesn’t only talk about crimes and how to solve it, it shows the darkness of the days and how twisted a system really is.
So, basically it’s not a drama you’d watch on a day when you’re too tired to think. It’s heavy, it’s dark, kind of depressing and really deep. This kind of drama makes you process. Think CSI with a twist. The drama got that theme right.
Ryo, being the snarky forensic scientist ( perfect role for him IMHO), in the drama is the icing on the cake for me. I loved it. I watched it from start to finish, and it always made me want more. That said, I am hoping for a 2nd Season. Though, they pretty much closed it at the SP. They could actually show the team investigating JOKER.
This is definitely something to watch if you want a thrilling drama that will keep you on your toes.
